The US part of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route is over......
I had to say goodbye to my friends Karen, Steve and Curt. They had to go home......
So I'm cycling alone again. Canadians are also very friendly people. The first night I didn't have to cook for myself. And now in Fernie I got a place to pitch my tent offered when I was in a bicyclestore.
Fortunately the weather changed for the better. The last days were good: sunshine but not to hot. Actually it is getting cooler. "Trees are already dropping leaves"
I will also add some pictures. I even have one of a black bear!
A difference between the US and Canada is that the mountains seem more rough in Canada. Another is that Canadians almost always end a sentence with eh! That's funny.....

Die eerste foto, die overheerlijke hamburger ziet er perfect uit! Het zal je zeker goed gesmaakt hebben joh! Ik heb weer van je foto's genoten! Was weer even wennen om alleen te fietsen? De herfst is dus weer daar in zicht begrijp ik.Moet ongelooflijk mooi zijn!

I have been reading and viewing your adventures since the start, but usually Fem writes you something back. You certainly have the best times ever over there ! I like the Photos you take... great views of nature.. The single track looks tempting ! ;-)
